The Lipizzaner is a warmblood horse breed that has its origins in the Habsburg imperial court stud "Lippiza".
Lipizzaner are born dark as foals, but over time they turn white. In addition to schimmels, the colors brown, dark brown and black also occur, occasionally fox and falcon. The head is expressive, with large expressive eyes. The nose line is a slightly convex ram's nose.
Features:
The neck is set fairly high and gives a proud impression. The body has a flowing topline, with little pronounced withers, medium length back and round croup. The coat is fine and silky. The legs are short, hard and strong, the feet small and excellently shaped. The movements are proud and elevated. The Lipizzaner has a natural aptitude for classical dressage, so that the toughest exercises can be performed.
